Challenge: Credit Unions First wanted to evolve its brand platform and better reflect the communities it serves. The existing identity needed to feel more credit union-first, emphasize member-owned and community-driven values, and clearly distinguish the organization from large corporate insurance providers.

Solution: I redefined the brand identity system to align with purpose and positioning. This included enhancing the logo to better represent its mission and communicate a clear message: We’re in this for credit unions. To modernize the visual system, I introduced distinctive typography options and an updated color palette designed to improve accessibility, consistency, and brand recognition across all touchpoints.

Results: Credit Unions First emerged with a stronger, more differentiated presence in a competitive industry. The refreshed brand better connected with credit union audiences, clarified its member-focused mission, and created a scalable foundation for continued growth and long-term impact within the credit union community.
